Staff and Governors have agreed the following statements to explain the broad aims of our school:

At St Hedda’s our aim is to provide an excellent education which will enable each child to achieve his/her potential, whilst also recognising that each child is an individual with his/her own specific gifts and talents.

Our school community aims to provide a welcoming secure and caring learning environment in which children are happy, motivated and enthusiastic about learning.

As a voluntary aided Roman Catholic School, we aim to present Gospel Values and attitudes which are actually lived out in our daily lives and expect pupils and staff to respect and value people of different backgrounds, cultures and faiths.

We aim to prepare the children in our care to become independent, caring and responsible members of society.

Our work on British Values is also embedded throughout our school life – click here for more detail.
