We are delighted to offer 30 hours funded childcare for eligible families in our Nursery, with no additional top-up fees. Children entitled to 30 hours can attend from 9:00am – 3:15pm, Monday to Friday, at no extra cost to parents.

Who is Eligible?

The 30 hours funded childcare is available for working parents of 3 and 4 year olds. You can check your eligibility and apply via the HMRC website:

To qualify, generally:

  • Both parents must be working (or the sole parent in a lone-parent family), and each must earn the equivalent of at least 16 hours per week at national minimum/living wage, but less than £100,000 per year.
  • You may also be eligible if one/both parents are on parental, maternity, paternity, adoption leave, statutory sick leave, or if one parent is disabled or a carer.

30 Hour Funding starts from the term after your child’s 3rd birthday.

Children may attend our setting from their 3rd birthday, and are welcome to access 15 hours free funded hours, or top up to 30 hours by paying the hourly rate of £5.84 or daily rate of £35.04 (as from 1st April 2026)

How to Apply

  1. Visit the HMRC website and complete the application.
  2. If eligible, you will receive an 11-digit validation code.
  3. Bring this code, along with your National Insurance number and your child’s birth certificate, to our school office.
  4. We will verify your code with the Local Authority before confirming your child’s place.

Session Times

Our session times are designed to fit in with the school day to ensure that nursery children are fully able to benefit from our small school setting. Parents/ carers can choose any combination of sessions that work with individual child and family needs. 

  • Morning session: 9:00am – 12:00pm (5 days per week)
  • Afternoon session: 12:15pm – 3:15pm (5 days per week)
  • Full day: 9:00am – 3:15pm (5 days per week, no additional charges)

Please note: Unlike some settings, we do not charge top-up fees for 30 hour places.

Meals

Children attending full days may bring a healthy packed lunch from home or order a school meal (charged at the standard daily school meal rate of £2.80.
