Statements to Live By

The school uses the Diocesan Statements to Live By to underpin relationships and behaviour in school.

AIMS OF THE STATEMENTS:

  • To make the Catholic values of ‘nurturing human wholeness’ within the school explicit.
  • To promote a positive and caring Christian ethos that is understood and communicated to everyone within the community, children and adults, and one that helps deepen the quality of education and truly helps to nurture human wholeness.
  • To promote emotional literacy, personal, social and health education, and contribute towards community cohesion and the common good.

We have been getting creative in Art!

Our children have been exploring how different marks can represent mood, feelings and movement, experimenting with thick and thin lines, and combining a range of drawing and painting techniques.

We have also been developing our observational skills by looking carefully at the world around us and creating patterns inspired by what we see. ✨

We’ve loved seeing the children’s creativity, imagination and individuality shine through their artwork! ❤️🎨
