Our Community

At St. Hedda’s we believe that we should be good citizens in the community that we live in. We should live out our Christian values and people should know that we belong to a Faith community by our actions of love and respect for others.

“Preach the gospel at all times and if necessary use words”.

At St Hedda’s we believe that our actions speak louder than words and that our faith should be seen in our community.

We are proud to serve both in the Esk Valley and Whitby and work with and for the community whenever possible.

Our self-led playdough station has been a hive of activity as the children get busy making their very own playdough!

Following the recipe, measuring ingredients, mixing, and watching everything come together has provided so many wonderful learning opportunities. The children are developing their independence, concentration, and problem-solving skills, all while exploring the fun of hands-on learning!

Learning through play really is magical! 🌟
