Catholic Social Teaching is central to the Catholic ethos of St Hedda’s, and we work hard as a school community to fulfil our mission.

Catholic Social Teaching is founded in Scripture and includes statements and letters written by Church leaders. It offers wisdom and insights on living the Gospel in today’s world.

Jesus tells us to love God and to love our neighbours, especially our sisters and brothers living in poverty. We use Catholic Social Teaching principles to guide the way we interact with the wider community and shape our relationship with God’s world.

We believe in:

Human Dignity – Everyone is special
